The entire process from start to finish looks similar to this: From first contact to booking, we will discuss the needs and wants from your shoot and any concerns or thoughts. Once we book I begin the planning process (if you have ideas already, great! Let me know! If not we will work together). I would love to chat before you sign anything, email or phone call whichever works, to make sure my vision aligns with your needs.
The big day starts with some introductions, chatting, and some candid shots. From there we will get started and I will direct and pose you naturally, respectfully, and professionally. I am a very easy going and laidback photographer! We may laugh, cry, or even laugh until we cry! Emotions are EVERYTHING and that is what I strive to capture.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You should know that you are in great hands! I am very easy going and I normally start my shoot with a quick run down of the agenda and some chatting while I get a few shots, before the shoot I ask for client input on location and outfits. If you like my style and editing then that is all you need to worry about. I will handle all of the posing and directing and will answer every question you may have. I want you to be as relaxed as possible, whether you have been in front of a camera before or it is your first time.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
I’m happy to bring your session to the places that mean the most to you. Travel within 35 miles of Louisa, VA is included with every session.
For locations beyond this radius, travel is $0.75 per mile (round trip). This helps cover the time and care it takes to get to your location and ensures your session runs smoothly and on schedule.
If your session is more than 2 hours away, a small lodging fee may apply so I can arrive rested and ready to create beautiful images for you.
When should I expect my photos?
You’ll get a proof gallery within 3–7 days of your session , and your final edited images will arrive within 2 weeks of your selections. I take time to hand-edit every image so your portraits look their very best. Beautiful, polished, and worth the wait!
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I will be monitoring the weather for us and if anything looks sketchy I will advise on it either the day before or morning of your shoot. All I ask for is 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule so I can offer your spot to someone else. As long as the proper notice is given you won't be charged. (Maximum 2 per booking)
